Internationella Engelska Skolan Liljeholmen opened its doors in August 2014 with a modest school body of just over 350 students. The school started with just three of its eventual seven floors complete and a teaching staff of 25.
In the school’s second year it doubled in size, with the 5th and 6th floors been unveiled and a large influx of new staff and students. The school’s house system was also launched this year, each student is placed into one of four houses (Curie, Nobel, Bell or Newton) and work together on various sporting, social and cultural endeavours throughout the year.
In August 2017 the 7th floor of our building was completed and earlier that year we saw our first two classes of year 9’s graduate. We now have five parallell classes from year 4-9 and about 940 students. We are very proud of the school we have created and look forward to our continued success in the future.
